Paul Schultz, MD

A highly-trained ophthalmologist who diagnoses and treats eye diseases and disorders including cataracts, glaucoma, and astigmatism.

Dr. Schultz is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. His physician/surgeon services extend over 30 years, including a tour with the US Navy. His service at the Institute includes thousands of beneficial eye surgeries. He has been donating his skills and energy, for many years, to performing eye care clinics in developing countries.

Dr. Schultz received his medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in 1985. He completed his internship at Naval Hospital in Oakland, California.

After internship he spent three years with the United States Navy serving as a medical officer aboard the U.S.S. Ogden (LPD5). After serving in the United States Navy, Dr Schultz went on to complete a residency and fellowship in ophthalmology at prestigious University of Iowa hospitals and clinics.

He has been a physician and surgeon for Cataract and Laser Institute since 1993. Dr. Schultz is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, Jackson County Medical Society, Iowa Eye Association, and Oregon Academy of Ophthalmology.
